Assassin’s creed: reimagined

OVERVIEW

The Arizona Territory in the 19th century is a crucible of converging forces. It is a landscape of profound contrast - saguaro-studded deserts, sky-reaching mountains rich with silver and copper, and sprawling grasslands bisected by the cold steel of the transcontinental railroads. This is not an empty land, but a deeply contested one, where history collides with modern ambition. The newly laid intercontinental railroad and telecommunications transformed hollow cities into bustling trading hubs, whereas, the remote, broken geography of the Phoenix Mountains provides sanctuaries for resistance against the changes brought by modern technologies.

Beneath the surface of the growing towns simmer a secret war, a conflict over the future of Arizona. Settlers, motivated by booming economic opportunities, brought to these ancient lands a new way of life. Indigenous peoples, those who have claimed ownership over the land for the last few centuries, vehemently oppose the ever-growing threat to their culture and sovereignty. Corporations, supported by the iron fist of the United States government, are set on colonizing the land for their private interests. Between the forces that sought to transform these ancient lands full of indigenous history into a metropolitan trading hub and those who simply seek to preserve their ancestry, the outcome of this conflict will determine the identity of Arizona for decades to come.
